Portal
The PPM Portal is the gateway to all your projects, portfolios, and programs. From the Portal, you can access your PMO, projects, portfolios, programs, or your Communities. This is where you can also access the solution’s configuration options. This main portal page can be customized with CSS and graphics to blend in with the look and feel of your other corporate sites. This Portal also includes our Activity Stream, which is a social feed displaying your activity across the projects.
PMO
Within the PMO Status view, you get an “at-a-glance” overview of all the projects within the PMO, the current status, and other important details, such as project sponsors, co-sponsors, and any potential constraints. You can kick off actions directly from this view as well, like creating and submitting new project proposals.
Stay on top of the status of multiple projects with the PMO Audit Trail feature within our PPM solution. In this view, see any changes in the status of all your projects, when those changes were made, and who made those changes.
The highly customizable My Dashboard within the PMO allows you to keep an eye on all those project proposals you may have submitted or for which you may be a sponsor.
Projects
PPM includes a robust scheduling feature that allows you to create your project schedule directly in PPM. The schedule can then be displayed in a Gantt chart allowing project managers to visualize the project schedule and the flow of the project over time.
Acquire a clear perspective of how resources are being used and managed within a project. Who’s working on the project, what’s their overall utilization, who has free time to help? See the resources and utilization overlaid on a project Gantt chart or in other views.
You’ve created a plan for your project, but how is it progressing? Drill down into project tasks and see project subtasks and deadlines. View important details, such as the percentage of completeness for various project stages, and customize the view to get exactly the information you need at a glance.
With the My Tasks view, see exactly which tasks have been assigned to you, as well as task status, priority, and other details.
Portfolios/Programs
The Portfolio/Program overview details the schedule of all projects in a defined portfolio or program. This powerful view shows the timeline of each individual project as well as the duration of the projects within the portfolio or program in relation to one another, a KPI summary, and percentage completion. Additional project status details are available by simply hovering over a project within the schedule.
Most people work on more than one project, so PPM gives you a way to see resource utilization across multiple projects. Just like with individual projects, you can get a clear understanding of how resources are being used across an entire portfolio or program.
As we’ve said, most people work on more than one project. So, it’s very beneficial to see your tasks or commitments across all those projects. PPM provides a “My” view so you can see all those things that relate specifically to you. Check on important details like projected and actual start and finish dates, percent complete, and more. In addition, you can email team members directly from this view to check on task details.
By anticipating risks, you and your team will be better prepared to manage them when they occur. You can manage risks at the project level and roll them up so you can get a portfolio- or program-level view of risks, as well. Don’t be surprised any more. Get a complete view of all the risks.
Get an overview of the details of individual projects within a portfolio. See contact details, priority level, status, and more - all in one place.
View customizable charts and graphs of the status, tasks, expenses, and more of multiple projects within a portfolio. See details such as the number of tasks assigned to individual team members, overdue tasks, and other critical information in context with the other projects in a portfolio.
Social PPM
The community feature within PPM can be a powerful tool for communicating as you and your team fine tune the tasks and goals of your project over time. See the posts within a project or portfolio related community, sorted by most recent posts first. From the main community view, you can see the Star Power ratings of each idea, the number of comments on the idea, and more.
