The last few weeks have been very busy with the SharePoint 2009 Conference in Las Vegas, the unveiling of SharePoint 2010, and a flurry of CW product releases, press releases, information and partnership announcements. Here are the highlights.

News
  • Workplace Suite with No License Management – Now the default edition – Version 10.2 of the Workplace Suite included License Management. Given the very broad types of infrastructures deployed by our customers, we’ve found the level of effort for a subset of you and CorasWorks to be overly burdensome. Your success is the most important thing to us so we have released a “non-license-management” version of the product. Going forward, this is the default version. If you aren’t having any issues, you don’t need to do anything. If you have had any issues with license management, you can download this via My Place. Support will be available if you have any questions.
  • CorasWorks and Microsoft to Present Joint Webcast on SharePoint for the Web – Sign up for this November 18th webcast to see how CorasWorks is empowering organizations to leverage SharePoint for web facing applications. Click here to read more.
  • CorasWorks Releases Products for SP2010 – At the SharePoint Conference last month we announced the release of the Workplace Suite and Toolset for SP2010. These SP2010 versions are now available to CorasWorks customers and partners running Beta 1. When SP2010 goes Beta 2 (public beta) in November or December, we’ll have those versions available also so you can get going. We’ll also have apps in the App Store running on SP2010 Beta 2.
  • CorasWorks and Fpweb.net Partner to Take CW to the Cloud – We have partnered with Fpweb.net to make the full CorasWorks app platform available in the Cloud. This is an exciting step for us as it opens up an entirely new market. It also provides a way for our on-premise customers to build Extranets/Communities in the Cloud – connected to their Intranets on premise. (also see Fpweb.net release)
  • ISV Product Integration Announcements – In September we announced product integration with Syntergy for Replication (see their release). This week we announced a technical partnership with AvePoint covering their full range of infrastructure management tools based upon their DocAve Software Platform (see their release). These partnerships will help insure that the CorasWorks app platform is integrated with these leading infrastructure providers and capabilities.
