Welcome to the April 29 edition of the CorasWorks Community Update. CorasWorks hits the road this month with our first wave of mobile-enabled applications, powered by the new CorasWorks Mobile Adaptor. All the mobile-enabled apps and the Adaptor are now available for download. Check them out under the Apps section below.

News and Events

  • Mobile-enabled Apps - Today, we are announcing our first three mobile-enabled applications and our brand new CorasWorks Mobile Adaptor. Visit our new Mobility page for more information or check out the press release.
  • SharePoint Saturdays - We're also hitting the road at various SharePoint Saturday events around the country. Come visit us at one of the upcoming free events. Click the "Events" tab on the page for more information.
  • Events: PPM Webcast - Here's your chance to see one of our mobile-enabled apps. Join us to see how we've added mobile functionality to the PPM.
  • CorasWorks Training Courses - We've got our May and June training dates posted. Attend our classroom training or participate in our distance learning—whatever works best for you.

Applications
  • Project Portfolio Management v1.3 (CorasWorks) - We've mobile-enabled PPM so you can now track KPIs and project status, add and update items, and even approve requests straight from your cell phone.
  • Help Desk with Self Service v1.3 (CorasWorks) - We also have a new mobile-enabled version of our popular Help Desk app. Add and view support requests while on the road.
  • Knowledge Base v2.0 (R3 Business Solutions) - R3 has published a new version of its Knowledge Base app, which now includes a deeper, richer feature set, including mobile functionality.
  • CorasWorks Mobile Adaptor - This server-side technology is what makes our mobile functionality possible. It is available for download right now.
  • Community Services Suite v1.2 (Spirit EDV-Beratung) - This new v1.2 release has been expanded with a 5th module for feature rich micro-communities. The new module allows you to quickly add micro-communities to any site with star ratings, tags, tag clouds, tag categorization (taxonomy), search, commenting, and quick comments. This robust solution is ideal to create Communities, Portals, Intranet Gateways, Extranets, and to enhance your Internet sites.
