What is in Breeze?
Breeze is a live, hands-on environment, built by using CorasWorks modular application development software, running on Microsoft SharePoint. The Breeze virtual workplace integrates:

- a corporate portal and partner extranet
- with a broad and deep intranet
- covering 7 departments
- and central administration
The workplace map shown here lays out the environment. There are 18 key business applications. Some of these applications are self-contained such as the Help Desk and Work Order Approval. Others consist of many related workspaces such as Internal Projects.
In addition, there are about 20 business processes that span the environment and applications. For instance, users can see and enter new Help Desk tickets from multiple places in the environment, and executives using their dashboard can see, contribute, and act on information from across the environment.
This workplace functions with information stored within SharePoint and also within external data sources such as SQL Server databases. For instance, the Customer Projects application uses SQL Server to store a great deal of information.
The Management Console within the administration allows you to manage the system from a central location. In addition, the workplace includes a central data administration section that allows you to store data that is reused throughout the environment.
