The key features of the CorasWorks Workplace Suite are delivered through a comprehensive set of modular web parts. These web parts are fully configurable and have been designed to give you maximum flexibility in how you choose to use them to find, collect, and display data and information from your SharePoint environment.
All of the CorasWorks web parts reside within your standard SharePoint galleries and can be placed on any page with a simple “drag and drop.” Once you learn how to administer one web part, you know how to administer all of them due to the common administrative interface.
The web parts also offer a Central Configuration benefit so you can control the configuration of web parts across your environment from one central location.
CorasWorks web parts enable literally hundreds of features you can leverage in the design of your applications. The “core” features of the Workplace Suite include:
- Roll–Up Connections and Displays: Roll–Up Connections and Displays aggregate and present data from across multiple lists or libraries and across multiple sites, site collections, and virtual servers.
- Actions: Actions are delivered through the Roll-Up Displays and automate many of the standard SharePoint and end-user tasks. They are the enabling feature for building automated business processes on SharePoint.
- Navigation: A variety of navigational components make it faster and easier to navigate, maintain, and update your applications.
- Parent/Child Displays: This feature allows you to show relationships between SharePoint lists and items in those lists in a parent–child view.
- Copy and Move: Quickly and easily copy and move selected information from one SharePoint list or library to another.
- Wizards: Several Wizards put the power in your hands to quickly and easily build new modular components, modify existing configurations, and deploy and manage new applications.
- Outlook Integration: Leverage your standard Outlook features through your SharePoint interface.
