“workstreams” and the CorasWorks
capabilities that drive them. Now, let’s
further explore the power that workstreams
offer your organization by diving into three

Integrating Workstreams with
Structured Workflow
Workflow is a very, very broad term. Email
is the most commonly used type of workflow.
From there, we move up the stack to very
structured workflow. Workstreams are a
subset of workflow and serve their purpose
somewhere in the middle of the workflow
stack. They are loosely-coupled, end user
driven, and cover scenarios where items in
one data repository are used to create
related, but different items in another
repository. Simply, it's a definition of how
information flows through a process. Think
of it as a layer on top of your workplace.
Below this layer, you can have back-end
structured workflow to control how work gets
done at each stage of a workstream. This
article will discuss how workstreams and
structured workflow work together to provide
a comprehensive solution to drive business
activity.

CorasWorks Continues to Propel
SharePoint Adoption in Q2 2006
In a recent press release, CorasWorks
announced its strong revenue and customer
growth in the second quarter of 2006.
CorasWorks added 93 new customers and an
additional 140,000 end users in the second
quarter, increasing our total customer base
to more than 750 organizations and 700,000
users in more than 20 countries around the
world. New enterprise and government
customers in Q2 2006 included Charles
Schwab, Sara Lee, Levi Strauss, EDS, ESPN,
U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Marine
Corps, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
CorasWorks also saw continued growth from
our installed base with maintenance renewals
and sales of additional server licenses.

The Workplace Workshop Gets Geared up
for 2007
In March of 2004, CorasWorks launched one of
the most unique SharePoint Community
offerings to date, the CorasWorks Workplace
Workshop™.
Today, these free 1-day hands-on workshops
are offered every month in more than 20
cities around the world. Designed to
deliver a hands-on understanding of how our
modular software can be used to build
collaborative business applications on
SharePoint, without development, CorasWorks
recently updated the content of the Workshop
to include information on Office 2007 and
SharePoint v3, as well as information on how
to design, create and manage collaborative
applications of all types.
