CorasWorks in 2007: The Next Step in
the Evolution of the Workplace on SharePoint
During 2006, more than 400 organizations
chose CorasWorks products to build
applications and integrate them into their
workplace running on Microsoft SharePoint.
Over the past year, the CorasWorks customer
base expanded to add more than 300,000 new
users in their workplaces. In addition to
this rapid customer growth, we
delivered three new releases of the
Workplace Suite, launched rPrograms, the
first in our line of packaged
enterprise-wide applications, and designed
and built our initial product releases for
the new SharePoint 2007 platform. In this
article, we’ll do a brief review of 2006 to
set the stage, and then we’ll lay out the
product roadmap for 2007.

CorasWorks Introduces its Design
Migrator for SharePoint 2007
CorasWorks is committed to providing the
fastest, easiest, lowest cost, and most
maintainable approach to a continuously
evolving collaborative workplace on the
Microsoft SharePoint platform. To make
continuous evolution practical, CorasWorks
now offers the CorasWorks Design Migrator™
for SharePoint 2007. CorasWorks initially
built the design migration capability for
its CorasWorks Workplace Suite customers.
Included as part of the Workplace Suite, it
enables customers to migrate their
applications from SharePoint 2003 to
SharePoint 2007 and allows them to easily
and programmatically manage the upgrades of
their sites as they improve their workplace
application designs. The CorasWorks Design
Migrator is currently available separately,
to help the general SharePoint community in
their SharePoint 2007 environments.
