Reston, VA - May 24, 2006 -
CorasWorks Corporation, the leading provider of workplace application software on the Microsoft® SharePoint®
collaboration platform, today announced its launch of a new online Application Showroom which offers professionals
from around the globe the opportunity to go hands-on with a live environment of integrated business applications
running on the beta version of the upcoming next generation platform – Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007).
The Showroom is being released on the heels of the public Beta 2 release of MOSS 2007 (May 23rd) and Microsoft’s first ever
Global SharePoint Conference last week in Bellevue, Washington. Through the new CorasWorks Showroom, organizations have the
ability to experience CorasWorks modular business applications running on the SharePoint
2007 collaboration platform. The new Showroom currently offers access to four
applications:
“CorasWorks is excited to be able to offer organizations such early access to a live
SharePoint 2007 environment with practical business applications that they can start
working with today,” said William Rogers, CEO of CorasWorks. “Our new SharePoint 2007
Showroom should help professionals understand the new level of modular business application
functionality that’s available to them and how it rivals leading commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS)
applications that are not on the SharePoint platform.”
In addition to the experience of working with complete business applications, the Showroom highlights
key new features of CorasWorks that leverage and extend the platform capabilities of SharePoint 2007.
Within this Showroom, CorasWorks plans to continue to release new applications and demonstrate other
upcoming features of the CorasWorks Workplace Suite for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 over time.
CorasWorks’ Showroom for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 complements its existing online Showroom which
offers organizations hands-on access to a broad set of business applications built using CorasWorks’
modular software on the SharePoint 2003 platform. Access to both Showrooms is free and available by
visiting CorasWorks’ Web site: www.corasworks.net. Both are also designed to simulate real-world situations
and allow visitors to learn more about the modular application software CorasWorks offers organizations interested
in quickly building integrated business applications without requiring custom programming.
