SI International had a significant challenge managing RFPs (requests for proposals). RFPs had to be reviewed by multiple individuals, and collecting the feedback from all of the reviewers was a enormous project. In addition, scheduling the staff, ordering materials, and communicating with internal and external personnel was a constant challenge. SanDisk faced an enormous need to share information across the intranet once a new factory in Asia was announced. An online workplace where employees could share projects, store documents and interact with each other would be mission-critical for the international venture. The online workplace had to be rolled out smoothly and be easy to use, or the factory project could be stuck in an online administrative quagmire—resulting in costly delays. By implementing CorasWorks templates, SanDisk was able to guarantee that the 80 collaboration sites necessary, many owned by different departments within the company, would be structured similarly. As a result, rolling up, accessing and adding data was a snap. The Asia factory project was void of any communications snags.

Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS) lacked an effective way to communicate and share information between its 50 offices. Counselors often relied on paper and pencil processing and utilized inconsistent methods for writing case notes and contracts. IVRS was further challenged by its legacy mainframe system, which lacked flexibility, was difficult to maintain and did not effectively provide executive-level reporting. TNS wanted a better way of sharing information about its customers, competitors and itself. CorasWorks allows TNS to share data more concisely than ever before, enabling users to subscribe to alerts and manage data at their fingertips. Intranet usage numbers have tripled, and TNS has noted at least 1/3 of the company is on the Intranet daily.
